AcuRapid is RDZ new underfloor heating and cooling system, characterized by excellent acoustic properties as well as fast and easy installation thanks to a self-attaching fixation technology for pipe laying. A micro-interlocking band is helically wound around the pipe to secure it quicky to the smooth insulation panel, which is covered with a special film barrier for attaching the pipe. Thanks to the elastic properties of the polysyrene board, the system can provide an average noise reduction of 26 and 28 dB(A) for 20-mm and 30-mm insulation panels, respectively, considering a screed of 100 kg/m² according to UNI EN 12354-2.
