Thanks to the installation of our underfloor heating system inside the sports hall in Ponte nelle Alpi, in the province of Belluno, local children will be able to play sports in an ideal climate.

The redevelopment project of the facility was financed with public funding and involved the replacement of the playing area and parquet flooring, the restyling of the public area and changing rooms, energy efficiency and the renovation of the heating system over a total area of 720 m².  With regard to the latter, our industrial floor system with PVC bar and smooth extruded CAM-certified insulation panel was installed.

Using this type of system has many advantages: heat is distributed evenly and homogeneously over the entire floor surface, reaching man height without dispersion towards the ceiling. Furthermore, it allows significant energy savings, thanks to its ability to operate with low water supply temperatures. Finally, the absence of convective motion reduces dust movement and, being integrated into the floor, the system is easy to clean.

For the installation of the system, our in-house team of experienced installers covered the floor with a vapour barrier sheet, on which a smooth 60 mm extruded insulation board was laid. The RDZ Tech PE-RT Ø20-16 pipe was inserted into the appropriate support bars. Industry manifolds were also installed for optimal circuit management.

In addition to guaranteeing quick and safe installation, this system allows the use of insulating panels of different thicknesses, according to design requirements, that meet the Minimum Environmental Criteria environmental criteria to access public funds.

The renovation of this building focuses on the comfort and well-being of those who will use it, through the use of environmentally friendly solutions.
For the heating system, the choice of an underfloor heating system with a PVC bar fully met the objective: to guarantee rooms with an adequate and constant temperature, while reducing energy consumption. All this using materials with a low environmental impact.
